As a cartoonist who draws everything manually, a recent diagnosis of Macular Degeneration combined with the onset of cataracts was a bummer. Eyesight is the foundation of everything I do as an artist.

Owning an aeroponic Tower Garden has it’s responsibilities… I know. I own one and can’t believe how fast the plants grow. Three weeks after planting, I was eating lettuce from it!
There is an absolute beauty to rich, green foliage growing on your deck. Personally, I am all thumbs when it comes to growing things… and, believe me, the thumbs are not green! We went out to dinner last night and something on the menu caught my eye. “Beer battered Perch” was one of the features on the menu. Does that strike you as a little strange in today’s climate of political correctness? How do they get away with it?

I just got my own Juice Plus+ Personal Tower Garden…and planted it with a variety of tiny starter plants, lettuce, kale, tomatoes, etc.
May 5th is not a normal planting day in Northern Michigan… but, the Tower Garden is not your normal garden. It’s space-age gardening! Grow Green… Grow vertical.
